Who can join the Lottery?

Anyone can join RAF Association Lift-Off Lotto, so long as they are over the age of 16 years old and are a UK resident. They do not have to be a member of the Association, so as a RAF Association branch you can recruit as many of your relatives, friends, neighbours, work colleagues, club members, or strangers as you can - All are welcome.

How do I recruit members?

This is easy!

The Leaflet explains how the Lottery works and gives 3 simple steps to joining the scheme.

All you need to do is to get your recruits to fill in the application form attached to the leaflet, get them to pay by direct debit or cheque, put the application form and payment in the post to the FREEPOST address.

How does my branch earn money?

Once again this is simple and needs minimum effort from you.
On the bottom right of the application form you will see a small box called “Marketing Code”, all you need to do is insert your four digit RAF Association Branch code into this marketing box.
When the application form is processed, this code will be entered in to the Lottery system and you will earn a commission. Please remember other marketing and recruitment activity will be taking place, if there is no code you will not get paid!
Please note it will not be possible to incorporate existing Lift-Off Lotto players from your branch into the scheme, the Branch incentive scheme applies only to new applications recruited by your Branch.

Where do the completed application forms go?

Your new recruits will probably want to take the application form away with them. If they pay by direct debit they will have to fill in their bank details on the form and may not want to give it back to you. Don’t worry. The application form is self mailing and as long as you have put you have put the Branch Code on the form, you will get paid.

How much money will my branch make?

You will receive 10% every time your recruited player plays Lift-Off Lotto - i.e. if you recruit someone who pays £52 for the year your branch will receive £5.20 for that year.

How can we use this money?

We would like your memberships to benefit from this income so the commission that you receive can be used in a number of ways. Some ideas could be to support your social events, Christmas Parties, Branch outings, or membership initiatives. The choice is up to each Branch committee.

When will we receive it?

The commission will be paid every November, with the scheme starting in November 2008, and the first payment November 2009.

How do I find out who wins?

Every week the winners will be put on the web site, alternatively you can ring the Lotto Hotline 0870 085 8844. Winners are automatically sent their winner’s cheque through the post.
